For this year’s Castle Point Anime Convention (CPAC) we decided to change it up a little and run a Convention photography panel. Conventions are always looking for panels that aren’t all the same to see if it’ll keep people interested. So we tried our hand at it by filling it the hard to fill early morning slot. So for the first half of the panel we were waiting around for people to drop by just as the other panels were doing. Eventually a group did show up and we proceeded with a Question and answer panel. At the end we had a DVD give away. After the panel we walked around and noticed people were still trying to get through registration well past noon. So half the crowd didn’t even make it in yet. So other than that it was a really polished convention for being their 6th year and student run. We’ll be back again next year and we’ll see what we can do to help out at CPAC.
